7-year-old Gia was motivated to help make a difference in the Dallas community when she saw a homeless man begging in the streets one freezing night. She was concerned that he would not be warm enough and decided she wanted buy him a Jacket. That quickly blossomed into an idea of trying to keep people warm year-round.
Gia is a self-proclaimed artist. She will be selling her own art as well as pieces from local Dallas Artists in an effort to raise money to buy blankets, jackets, socks, shoes, clothes and other items for families and people in need in the Dallas area. Gia will also gladly accept any financial donations or new items needed to help keep people warm.
